Peter Andre may meet Brit soldiers in Afghanistan

London, Sept 27 (ANI): Peter Andre may soon jet off for the conflict-ridden Afghanistan to raise the spirits of the war weary British soldiers in the country.

Andre also has plans to meet the injured soldiers who have returned to Britain.

The Daily Star quoted his rep Claire Powell as saying: “We have been talking to the authorities about getting Pete in to see the troops in the next few weeks.

“In particular those that have been brought back wounded from Afghanistan.

“They are sent to rehab centres including one in the South of England. That’s where he will probably go to see them.

“Pete wants to show his appreciation for the troops’ sacrifice.

“These are young guys who have suffered horrific injuries, even losing arms and legs. Pete wants to let these guys know they have not been forgotten.”

It is reported that that the 36-year-old Aussie singer is especially Keen to meet Tom Neathway, and Andy Allen, the injured soldiers he saw in BBC documentary Wounded. (ANI)
