Houston, Nov 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The banished baseball player Pete Rose is doing his utmost to stay young in the 60’s. In this endeavor he is sending his girlfriend to pose for Playboy. And she is a charmer by all means, a striking brunette in her 20’s.

He said that Playboy was kind enough to grant them the opportunity to consider her for the shoot and even called them to Houston for the interview. He obviously praised her to the skies, saying that she is educated and very pretty and is a sweet girl in her own right.

“My girl has finally decided to try to shoot for Playboy, and they were kind enough to give her an opportunity to come to Houston for an interview, and we’re excited about that. She’s beautiful, she’s young, educated — there’s a lot of qualities. She is very intelligent and just a really sweet girl,” said Rose, who was given a lifetime ban from baseball in 1989 for betting on games as a manager and a five-month jail sentence the following year for filing false income tax returns. Now he spends most of his days signing autographs in a Las Vegas casino.

He also spoke about the fact that he ought to keep himself young and she fully supports him, and is responsible for his youthfulness.

Pete Rose’s Playboy and Houston connection is the photographer Mikki Chernoff, who is herself a former Playboy model. Their connection goes back to years ago, as Pete Rose and Chernoff dated for sometime.
