Pete Doherty pleads guilty to drink driving, drug possession

London, June 13 (ANI): English musician Pete Doherty has pleaded guilty for driving under influence and drug possession.
The 30-year-old singer was arrested on June 11 after police officers spotted a car being driven erratically as the he left a gig in Gloucester, south west England.
The Babyshambles frontman was charged with dangerous driving, drink driving, possessing Class A drugs, and driving without a licence or insurance, reports The Daily Star.
Doherty had appeared at Stroud Magistrates Court, Gloucestershire where he admitted to every charge except dangerous driving.
The singer was released on bail following the brief hearing, and was swiftly escorted away from the courthouse by police before being bundled into his manager’s car and driven away.
Doherty has been asked to appear in court on 11 August (09). (ANI)
