Pete Doherty desperate for reconciliation with dad

The Babyshambles frontman was banned from meeting his dad, who had pledged not to meet him until he had kicked his drug addiction.
The pair had even made peace for a short time in 2007 when the singer was just released from the Priory Clinic but a relapse reversed their situation.
And now, the former lead singer of The Libertines, who is yet to get over the habit, said he was desperate to restore his cracked relationship with his idol.
“I”m coping mostly and I”m mostly clean, I won”t lie to you it is a struggle,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
