People rejoice firing of Kim Zolciak & NeNe Leakes from ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’

Atlanta, Dec 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Majority of the people are quite pleased that Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes have reportedly been fired from ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’. And the producers of the show are on the lookout for more stars to replace the feuding stars, who wanted more money and also wanted the hapless producers to bear with their tantrums too.
The general opinion of the audience is that they are hardly housewives at all, and are just gold-diggers. Most of the audience doesn’t identify with them on the ‘housewives’ level at all. Most are of the opinion that they are more drama than anything else, however for some it is the same ‘drama’ that they like to watch too. Some say that bereft of these two drama queens the show is boring and that they won’t watch it.
We have had quite a mixed bag of reactions to the news-story and here are some of the most interesting ones:-
Sue Alexander Says: Like they say, you can take the person out of the jungle but you can never get the jungle out of the person
Patrice Says: I’m glad NeNe is leaving, cause she is such a 2-face and she always kept trouble started and she acted like the show couldn’t go on without her, but I guess now her face is CRACKED-LOL So who’s tardy/leaving the party NOW!!! But I did like Kim, she was alright, sometime!!!
Susan Brown Says:There is nothing”real” or housewifish about these women. They are the most self absorbed, phony, foul mouthed group of women I have ever wastd half and hour watching. Kim is 40 if she is a day! NeNe is an embarrassment to all of the classy black women in Atlanta, because of her weight and tasteless clothing. And, Sheree(?) should put that clothing line out on the clothes line!!!
pbc Says: surely there are other “housewives” that are available in the trailer parks and strip joints that can be cast two replace those to yahoos.
Susan Says: Both are flaming idiots. I quit watching the show last season because of those two.
george Says: Whatever. All of them are freakin pigs. Obnoxious, UGLY as sin, and disgusting. Watched it once. The only one worse is the New Jersey hogs. Jeezz. The LA and Scottsdale girls were ok….. but really, these Atlanta ones, man. Ive been to Atlanta. They coulda done far better. Freakin Hog show.
Donna Says: I’don’t understand, franchise (BRAVO)is in the business to make money with views, Bravo rating is very high when the Atlanta Housewives is on. If Bravo looks for wealther Atlanta ladies,to replace NeNe and Kim,(these ladies have been friends for a number of years and will be friends for a number of years - show or no show) Bravo will pay a larger fee, you get what you pay for!! I don’t know that I will set my recorder to watch the new shows.

Yolanda Says: Viewers can say what they want, but the show is absolutely nothing without Ne-Ne and Kim. No offense to the other ladies but their story line is weak. Honestly who cares about Sheree’s clothing line, Lisa trying to get pregnant and so is every other woman in the World. Kandi’s drama was about her former fiance’ who is mo longer with us (May he rest in Peace), and her Mom, which is now a rap. Who cares about her music career, she’s very talented its obvious she will always be apart of the music industry. Bottom line Ne-Ne and Kim make the show and without these 2 ladies the producers may as well plan a whole NEW line up and they know it too! Please bring those Ladies back.
Janel Says: I read somewhere that Bravo is paying the lease on NeNe and Sheree’s houses. I don’t now if this is true or not, but if it is how could NeNe ask for more money? Its not like she is a star. In fact, her insecurites came out this past season when Kandi Alexander joined the group. She was very jealous of Kandi and her talent. Kim is getting a big ego with the success of her song that Kandi produced. It goes to show that with the right equipment anyone can become a singer and we know that that chile cannot sing a lick.
Melanie Says: More money?? To do what?? It’s not like they’re working… they are being followed by cameras to record what they do daily. Who the hell - in the REAL world- gets paid to get their nails done, throw parties for themselves, and swear at each other like foul-mouthed truckers??? These two women are stupid. BRAVO Bravo for letting these women walk.

I really think that kim and nene made the show and that even though there was alot of drama between the two that the show really needed them to get the ratings they recieved. It will be
hard to keep viewers coming back
without them.

Real Housewives of Atlanta was a good show—a real show. People tend to want shows to cater around their live, but there are different personalities all over the world. Just because some people didn’t relate to Ne Ne or Kim, you better believe there were many who did. Money doesn’t change a person. They are who they are, so let them be. Ne Ne and Kim were the main reasons for me watching the show–they will be deeply missed.

Here’s the gist of it. The Bravo network has made millions off the show! It was the highest ranking of all the “Housewives” so no matter what viewers say, “Someone” is watching enough to make it a hit. No matter how much you dislike this one or that one, Nene & Kim are much smarter than you think. If the show goes to syndication, and I’m sure it will, Bravo stands to make a killing. I see this as a legitimate business demand, not a “tantrun” as bravo would have you to believe.

First, it’s hard to take the opinions above seriously. Every comment included in the article had majot grammar and spelling errors. It’s hard to understand people’s opinions when they are barely literate.
Second, as Gena said when leaving the RHOOC, $75000 is not a lot of money. Bravo is making a lot of money from these ladies and it’s better to ask for a raise than to take what is given. Actors sign on to shows all the time and renegotiate when it’s a hit. Bravo is once again taking advantage of women by underpaying them. Jon & Kate made millions why not these women.

I heard that Kim has been offered a position on Housewives of Orange county, so she probably doesn’t care that she has been fired from H.W of Atlanta, she will still have her money train. Hell, I could have a reality show with camaras following me and my family around with all the drama going on with me and my sisters, Bravo needs to hook me up and look me up, I guarantee it would be a number one hit show. Nene has really gained some weight since last season,she has been eating good, so apparently Bravo has been paying her too much and now she wants more money so she can get bigger, she already has a hard time walking in heels on the show, she needs to stick to flats. Kandi is classy, Kim and Sheree are women I could hang out with,Lisa’s story line is a little boring and Nene is STRAIGHT UP GHETTO.

We all know this show was watched..but for what? Point is, these women are an embarrassment to woman and poor examples for CHILDREN! Especially, little girls. One can act they way they wish, and be who they are, but this type of disfunctional, crude behavior should not be on t.v.!

I really enjoy watching Atlanta
Housewives…and honestly Ne Ne and Kim are two good characters for this show; they keep it interesting and make you look forward to next week’s episode…I can’t say they need more money for what they do. After all, it’s a reality show. They need to tone it down for asking for more money, as for what I’ve heard they damn near broke as it is..peace ladies.

Well, it is about time that those two are off of the show, out of the two, I liked Kim. Kim’s head started to get bigger when she made that record, and she started to change which wasn’t good. Khadi really tried to help her out but I think it went to Kim’s head that she could really sing. Enough of the drama, let’s get to other’s that deserve some camera time, and I don’t mean cheree!
Must be nice to get paid for doning nothing, trying getting a Real job and see how much you will get paid! Grow up!!!

But, getting to the heart of the matter. Bravo Bravo for not putting up with the BS these two are doing, and by the way why admonish Bravo for making millions. They’re the creators of the show so why shouldn’t they make that kind of money. These ladies should be kissing Bravo’s feet for creating this show and choosing them to be on it. Look there have been many shows that have replaced main actors that have left and continued to be a success. One great example is MASH. The show is as good as those who perform on it. Sure these ladies are not in the caliber as the actors in MASH, but that’s my point, the show can find other women just as snotty and brashy as these two.

I’m holding out hope that Bravo’s intent with this show is not to show the real moneyed class, but its dark suddenly-won-the-lottery underbelly imposters. Money has allowed them to assume the material affectations of a class into which they clearly weren’t adequately initiated, and they seem not to have observed any of its social mores. Cat-fighting in the street? Hairpulling? Seriously? I hope someone reads this to NeNe, as she has no manners whatsoever. Take away her checkbook and she’s ghetto gutter trash. Kim has no talent whatsoever. She can’t even carry a tune. Abysmal. Take away her checkbook and she’s a tawdry streetwalker wannabe with an ego as inflated as her bodice-bursting cleavage (& every bit as real!), which she never fails to stuff (but just barely) into her clothes. Tasteless. Talentless. Neither have any class whatsoever, even from middle class American where I sit. I’m sure the real moneyed elite are cringing at these false gods, if they deign to consider them at all. Their desire for bigger paychecks illustrates just how clueless and delusional they really are about their own worth.

The entire cast should be fired. NeNe & Kim wanted to be the STAR of the entire show, they both forget that there were other housewives there. NeNe got on my last nerve, she has NO talent and wanted to keep arguments going so she would be the center of the drama. Cancel this show and all housewives shows. They were all a JOKE.

The comments I have heard are really interesting. However, there is one thing we all need to keep in mind. This show (along with other reality shows) is just entertainment! You have to understand that this is a business and at the drop of a hat, you can be removed if you are no longer needed by the business. It’s all about money and nothing more. Believe me when I say these women were/are doing it for the money and the spotlight/exposure. If they weren’t you wouldn’t see them broadcast their “lives” as they do! Unfortunately there is a price when you sell you soul to the devil (ie: the networks). Of course these women are not a clear representation of African American women or any woman living her life day-to-day, but they have to sell what’s “juicy”. Ladies and gentlemen, don’t get caught up in it and get so flabbergasted! Laugh, shake your head, talk it over with your best girlfriend and realize that this is, once again, JUST ENTERTAINMENT and then, go to bed! LOL Of course some people tell me not to watch, but after dealing with the real world all day, sometimes I just need a break and laugh at the VERY EDITED things we see! That’s why they are called guilty pleasures…it’s a better alternative/stress-reliever than drinking or doing drugs! Don’t worry this is NOT my only alternative b/c I am a very educated young woman, but every now and then I can spare an hour or so of my time. What the heck does Greg do, what is his source of income?? Sheree clothing line is something that anyone can find at Wal-mart or Target, what is so fantastic about her fashions, hell, I could start a fashion line if that’s the case. Nene does make the show popular, but she souldn’t be calling others ghetto when she is a straight up chicken head, hood rat. Kim needs to wear a shorter, dark wig, it would make her look younger and she needs to tone it down on the lip injections.
