New York, Sep 11 (ANI): Megan Fox is unable to comprehend why people criticize her for being in love.

The ‘Transformers’ actress revealed that she got scrutinized for being a young bride when she wed former ‘Beverly Hills, 90210′ star Brian Austin Green over the summer.

Featured as one of the “game-changing” celebrities in the October issue of Elle, she said, “When I talk about my husband, I feel as if people roll their eyes,” reports the New York Daily News.

“It’s like when you’re 16 and order a martini, and the waiter says, ‘Do you think I’m stupid? “They can’t grasp that I’m old enough to be married,” the 24-year-old actress told the magazine.

Fox and Green, 36, began dating in 2004, but briefly split in 2009 after a two-year engagement.

However, they reportedly reconciled a few months later and became reengaged earlier this year.

The on and off couple finally tied the knot on the beach at the Four Seasons in Hawaii in the presence of Green’s 8-year-old son with ex Vanessa Marcil.

“We are just even more committed to each other and we always have been. I am more in love with him now than I was in the beginning,” said Fox. (ANI)
