People’s Choice Awards: Robert Pattinson Pitted Against Johnny Depp And Leonardo Di Caprio

November 11, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): ‘Twilight’ actor Robert Pattinson has been pitted against the likes of Johnny Depp and Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio for 2011’s People’s Choice Awards. The list of nominations for ‘favorite movie actor’ includes Robert Pattinson, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Downey Jr. and Taylor Lautner.
While Taylor Lautner is his co-star from ‘Eclipse’ for which both the guys have won their nomination, the real fight is with the biggies, Depp and Leo. Johnny Depp, the magnetically maverick actor did a fantastic job in ‘Alice in Wonderland’ where he played the Mad Hatter. Leonardo DiCaprio’s role in the highly intellectualistic film ‘Inception’ was liked by all and Robert Downey Jr. flexed his muscles for the action adventure ‘Iron Man 2′.
While the Twilight die-hards would certainly want someone like Robert Pattinson to pick the trophy (for his sublime performance as the vampire Edward Cullen), he faces a humongous challenge from the veterans.
