Penthouse magazine founder - Bob Guccione dies at 79
October 21st, 2010 - 1:10 pm ICT by ANILondon, Oct 21 (ANI): Bob Guccione, the founder of ‘Penthouse’ magazine has died in Plano, Texas at the age of 79 years old.
Penthouse is a men’s magazine that combined urban lifestyle articles and built a pornographic media empire.
Mostly infamous for breaking taboos, it made billions once.
But soon, the famous magazine drowned in a slough of bad investments and Internet competition.
Guccione, in his New York mansion was found with an oversized gavel given to him by his daughter, in 1982, The Sun reports. (ANI)
