Penns not getting back together
August 18th, 2009 - 7:41 pm ICT by Sampurn WireSean Penn and his wife, Robin Wright Penn have ruled out reconciliation, contrary to reports. The couple filed for divorce in December 2007 but called it off four months later. In April 2009, just a few days before their 13 wedding anniversary, the actor filed papers for a legal separation but dismissed the bid in May 2009.
The duo attended a party together at Hollywood producer Joel Silver’s house in Malibu, California, putting rumors of their separation to rest.
However, Wright Penn has admitted that while the official split is off, the couple is not back together. She believes that the split has given her “clarity of life’ and that she has no regrets because they have two amazing children that they raised together. The split has helped her decide what she doesn’t want very clearly.
The only thing she’s currently having trouble with is getting accustomed to the fact that her child, Dylan, is about to leave home. While she wants her child to go and live, she can’t help getting emotional.
