Penns Into the Wild leads nominations for Broadcast Critics Awards

London, Dec 12 (ANI): Sean Penns Into the Wild led the pack of nominees for the Broadcast Film Critics Association’s 13th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards with seven nods.

Into the Wild nomination list includes picture, director, writer, actor (Emile Hirsch), supporting actor (Hal Holbrook), supporting actress (Catherine Keener) and best song (Eddie Vedder’s Guaranteed), reports Variety.

Juno, racked up six nominations, while Atonement, Michael Clayton, No Country for Old Men, Sweeney Todd and Hairspray tied with five.

The best actress nominations include Angelina Jolie for A Mighty Heart, Cate Blanchett for Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Amy Adams for Enchanted, Julie Christie for Away From Her, Marion Cotillard for La Vie en Rose and Ellen Page for Juno.

The award ceremony will be held Jan. 7 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.
