Penn, Cameron honoured in Berlin

Los Angeles, Feb 17 (IANS) Actor Sean Penn and director James Cameron have been conferred with a special honour for their philanthropy in Berlin, Germany.Penn received the Honorary Award at the Cinema for Peace Gala for his aid efforts in earthquake-ravaged Haiti, reports imdb.com.
On the other hand, Cameron scooped the International Award for his short film, “A Message from Pandora”, which highlights the effects of development in the Amazon rainforest upon its indigenous tribes.
