Penelope Cruz’s hands wounded during Nine filming
October 7th, 2009 - 3:24 pm ICT by ANILondon, Oct 7 (ANI): Penelope Cruz was left with bleeding hands after she filmed a stunt for her upcoming movie Nine.
The 35-year-old beauty was hanging in the air with ropes for the stunt and the constant struggling with the ropes led her hands to bleed.
The Daily Express quoted helmer Rob Marshall as saying: “She’d be the last one on the soundstage working and I’d have to say, ‘Penelope, it’s over!’
“In the middle of the number she does all this work with ropes, swinging on them, and she had formed calluses and her hands were bleeding. We told her she would have to wear gloves but she was like, ‘No, no, I have to feel it.’”
However, it looks like the painful ordeal turned out to a pleasurable experience for Cruz.
Marshal added: “We finished it and she was in tears, saying, ‘I loved every second. I want to install ropes in my bedroom so I don’t have to let go of it.’”
Nine is slated for a November 2009 release. (ANI)
