Mar 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The last time we saw “Penelope Cruz” and “Johnny Depp” starring together was in the movie “Blow” which came out in the year 2000. Now she will play the part of his love interest again, for the fourth film in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie series. The title of the newest movie in this group is entitled “On Stranger Tides” and was also produced by “Jerry Bruckheimer.”

“Penelope Cruz” will be replacing “Kiera Knightly” as “Johnny Depp’s” (Captain Jack Sparrow’s) love interest, and will play as the feisty daughter of the villainous pirate Blackbeard. Bruckheimer did reveal that there will be a little romance between the two characters.”She’s the daughter of the bad guy… very feisty. There’s a little romance between Captain Jack and the character that Penelope plays,” said Bruckheimer. Blackbeard will be played by “Deadwood’s” Ian McShane. Barbossa will again be played by “Geoffery Rush.”

Orlando Bloom nor Kiera Knightley will return for the movie sequel. They feel that their characters’ story-lines are coming to an end, although the movie series itself is a huge hit at the box office. The third movie in the group managed to pull in over a billion dollars around the world, which made it the fourth highest grossing film in movie history.
