Peaches Geldof engaged to rocker Thomas Cohen
December 12th, 2011 - 8:22 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Dec 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Bob Geldof’s daughter Peaches may be walking down the aisle for the second time at the age of 22. The socialite has been engaged to S.C.U.M. rocker Thomas Cohen for six months now but she recently revealed the engagement in a newspaper interview reported by The Sun.
The two have been going out for a year now. She was quick to add that the two have given themselves time regarding tying the knot. That is in sharp U-turn from what Peaches did when she was 18 years.
Peaches and then boyfriend Max Drummey eloped in August 2008 and got married in Las Vegas. However less than a year later, the marriage was in trouble with Peaches and the American singer releasing a joint statement that said that, “After much soul searching we have made the mutual decision to end our marriage and have agreed to go our separate ways. Our parting is amicable and both of us still respect and care about each other immensely. There were no other people involved in this decision and we both look forward to a future as good friends.”
Peaches seems to have learnt a lot from the experience and wants to take her time with the marriage. She said Cohen has agreed that the pair needs “couple of years” to decide if they should tie the knot.
