Paula Abdul Making A Comeback As Host Of “Star Search”?

Los Angeles, March 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Paula Abdul, the American Idol Judge will be seen on the small screen again, according to reports. The Judge who moved out of “American Idol” last year will be seen sharing the judges’ seat and that of the host’s at “Star Search”, a talent hunt program which will be aired on ABC.
The “Star Search”, which was one of the most popular shows during 1980s and 90s is ready to return on television in a new avatar. The reality talent hunt show has brought some of the notable singers of the time to the fore front. Singers like Beyonce, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake have come up from the show during the early 90s. The “Star Search” was then hosted by Ed McMahon. Though a popular show of that time, the “Star Search” when brought back to the television in the year 2003, did not find many viewers and was ended just after two seasons. The show was hosted by Arsenio Hall in 2003 which had David Archuleta as its winner.
The return however is being anticipated to make a mark on television. Paula Abdul, who left the American Idol show last year, is taking interest in the “Star Search”s re-launch. According to some sources, Paul Abdul is busy talking to the top executives of the ABC network to chalk out the plan for the revival. If every thing goes right, then audience will get to see the classic realty talent hunt show again on television with a new look and Paula Abdul as the host of the show.
