Paula Abdul is the producer, creative partner & judge of the new CBS show ‘Got to Dance’

Los Angeles, May 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The former American Idol judge – Paula Abdul is all set to be the executive producer, creative partner and also the lead judge on an upcoming CBS show, which has been titled ‘Got to Dance’. CBS is yet to announce the launch date of the show and the participants.
It is said to be based on the British show, and was a major hit on Britain’s Sky 1, even though it is a pay TV series. According to reports, it is said to be the ‘most inclusive talent search on TV where amateurs’ can audition for the show. There is said to be no age group for the show either. And the other USP of the show is that the contestants can perform any style of dancing that they are comfortable with, which may be either ballroom, break dance, bhangra, ballet, tap or even tango.
“Each and every week we’ll showcase the challenges and successes of a fantastic group of dancers, as they perform and compete — compelling stories, exciting competition and amazing dance performances are guaranteed,” according to a press release by Paula Abdul. Since leaving the show American Idol, people were speculating about Paula Abdul’s next career move, and this sure is a shot in the arm for her.
