paul1 May 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former ‘American Idol’ judge, Paula Abdul is all set to reappear for this week’s finale, and farewell for Simon Cowell, who is quitting American Idol after nine seasons to form his own talent show called ”X’ Factor’. And then Paul is off to produce her own reality show as well, on CBS, called ‘Got To Dance.’ She will not only serve as host of the new show, but is also the executive producer and mentor for the contestants.

According to a CBS spokesman, “Each and every week we’ll showcase the challenges and successes of a fantastic group of dancers as they perform and compete.” Paula shared her feeling about the show, which will feature contestants who are from all music genres, “I’ve spent the better part of my life teaching, mentoring, nurturing - working with so many talented people - and I consider myself truly blessed to be able to continue to do something that I hold so dear to my heart.”

The 47 year old Paula Abdul will play a huge part in choreographing the numbers as well as be a creative partner. She was all set to headline Simon’s new show with him, but it is as of yet unconfirmed whether or not she still plans to be a part of ‘X Factor’. As Simon steps down, there are rumors that Madonna is the one who will fill his shoes. Madonna, hosting ‘American Idol’? We will have to wait and see.
