Washington, May 14 (ANI): Paul Newman was a bisexual, and had many on-location affairs - these are some of the claims writer Darwin Porter says were made by Marlon Brando.

Porter, in his book Paul Newman: The Man Behind The Baby Blues, alleged he interviewed Brando about Newman before the former passed away in 2004.

“He never fooled me. Paul Newman had just as many on-location affairs as the rest of us, and he was just as bisexual as I was. But, where I was always getting caught with my pants down, he managed to do it in the dark,” Contactmusic quoted Porter, who further quoted Brando in his book, as saying.

The author told America’s the Globe that he had been following Newman’s secret sex life after first meeting the acting legend in 1959.

He alleged the late star, who had been married to actress Joanne Woodward for 50 years, had been in bed with icons like Grace Kelly, Natalie Wood and Marilyn Monroe, and even had a gay affair with James Dean.

But Newman’s family was said to have slammed the scandalous book, dubbing the allegations “disgusting”.

A source said: “Paul knew there were rumours out there about his sexuality and to have to face them when he’s not here to dispute them is Joanne’s worst nightmare.” (ANI)
