The book which is titled “Life In Photographs” features selection of some of the best shots that Linda took during her career.
Linda was one of the early female photographers who worked unassisted. She is also the first female photographer whose work made it on the back cover of the Rolling Stone Magazine. She died in 1998 after struggling with breast cancer for three years. When she died, Linda was 56 years old.
The pictures in the book were selected by Paul and his children. The book is being sold in Britain for £44.99 a piece. However special editions are being offered for £1,500. The book was published by the publishing house TASCHEN.
This is not the first book on the work of Linda. When she was alive, Linda who was also a musician and an animal rights activist published a book, “Linda McCartney’s Sixties: Portrait of an Era,” which was about her career.
According to a Daily Mail report, a photo exhibition would also be held to showcase the works of Linda.
