Oct 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Emma Stone told David Letterman last Thursday that she and her mom celebrated the latter’s recent recovery from breast cancer by etching a tattoo which was personally designed by Sir Paul McCartney. The 21 year old said that it was a wild way to celebrate her mom’s recovery, and tattooing is something that she did for the first time and probably the last time too.

The Hollywood star personally requested the ace singer to give some valuable inputs and ideas regarding the tattoos. The famous Paul McCartney song, “Blackbird” is an all time favorite of both Emma Stone and her mom. She was fascinated with the idea to create a tattoo based on that theme, and therefore considered Paul McCartney to be the perfect person who could visualize the design and draw it for the mother and the daughter. She asked the singer to draw the a tiny “BlackBird” feet a few days ago, and yesterday, much to their gratitude, the timeless humble singer gladly did it for them.

Emma Stone says that it was one of the most exciting moments for her to be in the presence of Paul McCartney, who at the time of her visit to his place, was preparing veggie burgers for the Hollywood star. The actor says that two years ago, on the same day, her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. After some treatment for more than a year, she is finally “Out of the wood” by God’s grace. This is a big reason for celebration and she wanted to capture the moment forever. Inking a ‘Custom tattoos by Paul McCartney’ was an additional cherry on the icing for Emma Stone and her mom.
