London, Sept 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former Beatles Paul McCartney will reportedly tie the knot at a ceremony in London. This is the third time that the 69-year-old will be exchanging the sacred vows. McCartney and his fiancée Nancy Shevell served the wedding notice to officials at London’s Marylebone Town Hall on Wednesday. The venue will bring back some memories to McCartney because he tied the knot with late wife Linda at the same place about 40 years ago.

Officials at the town hall announced the notice of the wedding on Friday when they spoke to the Associated Press. With the notice, the couple have a year to hold the wedding.

Westminster Council’s superintendent registrar, Alison Cathcart expressed her delight of the upcoming wedding. She told AP that she will officiate the event when it is eventually held.

The report quoted Alison as saying that she is “delighted: the two have chosen Marylebone Town Hall for their special day. Lots of couples get married here because of the venue’s reputation as a rock ‘n’ roll place to tie the knot and this ceremony will certainly continue that legacy.”

McCartney’s first wife was Linda. They married in 1969 but Linda lost a battle against cancer in 1998. McCartney later married Heather Mills but the marriage ended in 2008.
