Paul Brittain, Vanessa Bayer and Taran Killam Rumored to Join SNL Cast!

Aug 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) As the hit television comedy show ‘Saturday Night Live’ enters it’s 36th season, fans of the place where so many famous comedians got their start are frantically looking for news on who will be joining the new cast, especially after the announcement was made that Will Forte will be leaving the show after eight seasons. But who will the newcomers be?

‘The Comic’s Comic’ writer, Sean L. McCarthy claims to have the scoop. According to an article by McCarthy, the most likely three to be named as new cast members for the famous show are Paul Brittain, Vanessa Bayer and Taran Killam. Paul Brittain is a sketch comedian and improviser from Chicago, Vanessa Bayer, born in Cleveland is now also from Chicago, and is an improviser and stand up comedian, and Taran Killam is a member of ‘The Groundlings’ in Las Angeles.

Killam reportedly has the most experience, having been on both the ‘Mad TV’ show and ‘Nick Cannon’s Wild N Out’. He also has a recurring role on ‘How I Met Your Mother’ as a character named Blauman.

Bayer and Brittain both have experience of their own, as improv performers, stand up comedians, and sketch comedy at very notable Chicago locations such as Chicago venue iO Chicago, and Second City’s Touring Company. Brittain has also appeared on quite a few shows of ‘Sport Action team’, a mocumentary on NBC.
