Paul Blart: Mall Cop tops weekend box office

Washington, Jan 19 (ANI): The Kevin James comedy Paul Blart: Mall Cop has topped the weekend box office after raking in 33.8 million dollars.

According to studio estimates, the Clint Eastwood drama Gran Torino landed the second spot with 22.2 million dollars, reports E! Online.

My Bloody Valentine 3-D came third with 21.9 million dollars while Notorious stood fourth with 21.5 million dollars.

Paramount’’s Hotel for Dogs, a heart-warmer about a pair of adolescents who turn an abandoned hotel into a shelter for stray dogs, rounded off the top after earning 17.7 million dollars.

The top-grossing weekend films are:
