Pattinson to star in ‘Cosmopolis’
January 7th, 2011 - 4:45 am ICT by IANSLos Angeles, Jan 7 (IANS) Actor Robert Pattinson has been roped in to star as high-flying financier in his new film “Cosmopolis”.An adaptation of Don DeLillo novel “Cosmopolis”, the film is about Eric Packer who risks his entire fortune on a bet.
His deed puts him in the crosshairs for assassination in a drama that is a study of capitalism in a slightly futuristic metropolis. Most of the scenes in the book take place in the limousine that transports Packer from place to place, reports deadline.com.
Actors Marion Cotillard and Paul Giamatti are also reportedly doing the film that will be directed by David Cronenberg.
