Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner to miss Twilight UK premiere
June 3rd, 2010 - 4:44 pm ICT by ANILondon, June 03 (ANI): ‘Twilight’ stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner plan not to attend the UK premiere of their upcoming film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
While the lead stars have decided to disappoint ‘Twilight’ fans, the other cast of the vampire series including Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed has confirmed to attend the event that is set to launch in London on 1 July.
A rep from the film’s UK distributor E1 Entertainment has revealed that the three actors will record a video message for their fans that will be played before the audience in the British capital, reports The Daily Express.
Pattinson is not coming to promote the film because he is currently shooting for his new movie Water For Elephants in Los Angeles.
“Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan), Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) and Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black) will not be far away with specially recorded video messages for their U.K. fans,” the statement read. (ANI)
