Pattinson gives up music album dreams
November 12th, 2011 - 3:31 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Nov 12 (IANS) Actor Robert Pattinson doesn’t want to bring out a music album for the fear of being criticised.
“Doing movies, I can handle the criticism because you can always blame somebody else. There are hundreds of people to blame. But, with music, as soon as you’re putting something out there, you’re basically only putting an album out there for people to judge it,” contactmusic.com quoted Pattinson as saying.
Two of the British star’s songs appeared on the first “Twilight” album and he also contributed three tunes to the soundtrack for the film “How to Be”. But as much as fans would have liked to hear a whole album by him, Pattinson does not plan to head into the recording studio anytime soon.
“I don’t necessarily want people to judge it. Also I know if I had an album out, the day it comes out I’m gonna be on the internet looking at stuff (comments) and I’ll probably shoot myself. So I don’t know if it’s worth shooting myself over,” he added.
