Patti Labelle settles her assault lawsuit

New York, Sep 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Patti Labelle, a disco diva has been forced to pay a settlement of $100,000 after she was accused by a pregnant mother of making uncouth remarks in the presence of her one and a half year old daughter.

This singer is alleged to have gone to the home of the pregnant mother and called names at her and finally she spilled some water to the mother out of a bottle. The 68 year old singer has also been accused of screaming at the child and she made attempts to punch Ms Monk out of her fury.

This chaotic rampage even made little Genevieve to vomit forcefully. It is said that Ms Monk the pregnant mother put down her daughter so that she could carry luggage. It is then that her daughter started playing when the diva saw her and busted out.

The singer asked the pregnant mother rudely why she let her child run without her supervision and condemned Ms Monk for leaving her daughter to run like that. This unfortunate event took place in the year 2010 and Labelle the diva was forced to pay $100,000 lump sum of money and the case was finally done away with.
