Oct 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Hot and dashing Patrick Wilson will hit the screen once again with the new flick “Young Adult”. The movie will be directed by the Ace Hollywood director Jason Reitman, who earned his fame directing “Juno” and “Up in the Air”. Patrick Wilson will play the male lead for this upcoming film. The film is still under negotiation and no other deal has been finalized yet.

The film will also star Charlize Theron, 35, as the female lead. Diablo Cody, will be writing the script of the movie. He has also written the script for “Juno”, for which he was critically acclaimed. The entire “Juno” team will be producing “Young Adult”, and therefore, Mandate Pictures and Mr. Mudd Productions is all charged up to wrap the its pre- production stage. Negotiation are still on with Paramount Pictures, to distribute the film.

“Young Adult” revolves around the life of a young divorce in her mid thirties, played by Charlize Theron. She plays a fiction writer, who returns to her hometown in search her ex-boyfriend, to recover herself from the solitary phase of her life after a divorce. She finally meets her ex-boyfriend only to find that he is married and has a child. The film would narrate what the two lovers go through after they reunite after such a long time.

The star cast of the movie is interesting, as the two actors come together for the first time. Patrick Wilson, 37, is one of the most poised actors, who made his debut in 2001 with “My Sister’s Wedding”. It was followed by several other hits like Angels In America, The Phantom Of The Opera, Hard Candy etc. He was last seen in the film “The Switch” in 2010.
