Washington, Sept 30 (ANI): Late actor Patrick Swayze’s family will be holding a private memorial in California on October 4.
The ‘Dirty Dancing’ actor lost his battle to pancreatic cancer on Sept 14.
His family and friends will pay tribute to him at the service, which will be held at Sony Studios in Culver City, California.
“In lieu of flowers, please make donations to either of the following two organisations - The Patrick Swayze Pancreas Cancer Research Fund or Stand Up to Cancer,” Contactmusic quoted Swayze’s representative as saying.
The private memorial follows a public event in the town of Lake Lure, North Carolina, where much of 1987 movie ‘Dirty Dancing’ was filmed.
Patrick was cremated on September 17 and his ashes are currently being held at his lawyer’s office, according to his death certificate. (ANI)
