It has been two days since the death of actress Mia Farrow’s brother, Patrick Farrow came to light. Since then there have been many tales regarding the involvement of foul play or other suspicious factors. The report from the coroner’s office is finally out and it has provided substantial insight into the case.

The autopsy reports seem to point to one certain fact that the gunshot wound that had killed the sculptor was self inflicted. It is quite evident from the reports that Patrick Farrow had committed suicide. The authorities are not yet sure about the motive behind the suicide nor are they aware of the factors that compelled him to take up this drastic step.

Patrick Farrow was found dead in the studio of his art gallery when the police had acted upon a 911 call and went to investigate. The emergency call had come from a woman, looking for help, who might have been his wife. The couple had been residing in Castleton, Vermont, for a long period of time. Before that Farrow used to stay in Hollywood and Europe.

Farrow is the son of the famous Australian director, John Farrow and Irish actress, Maureen O’Sullivan. The 66-year-old sculptor had been practicing his skill for the past 35 years. He had moved into the historical town of Castleton for the sole reason of honing his skills as a sculptor. Together with his artist wife Susan, he had started his studio and gallery in an old converted church.

The police are not going to comment on the matter since Farrow’s death has been found to be a clear case of suicide.
