London, Dec 30 (IANS) Country singer Dolly Parton’s sister is planning to take legal action against a Northern Irish concert promoter, James MCGarrity, who allegedly used her name to advertise a country music festival.
MCGarrity allegedly claimed that Stella Parton would feature in the Grand Ladies Of Country concert tour last year , and later told fans she had axed her appearance due to bad weather.
Stella has now revealed her plans to file a lawsuit against MCGarrity the next time she travels to Northern Ireland.
“I would never agree to take part in a concert and then not turn up, I have never even been late for a show. I would not let my fans down in that way,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted her as saying.
