London, Mar 5 (ANI): The controversial beer advert of socialite Paris Hilton is back on the air after TV producers in Brazil edited out the steamy scene.

The ad had sparked a series of complaints when it aired in the country last month.

Critics had claimed that shots of Hilton, 29, dressed in a black robe and rubbing a can of Devassa beer on herself showed a “lack of respect” for women.

Producers behind the promo have now removed the controversial scenes and edited the ad to only show Hilton’s face for several seconds.

“There is a good dose of humour in the new advert. But I’m also sure there was nothing wrong with the previous one,” the Daily Star quoted the head of the advertising agency responsible for the campaign, Augusto Cruz, as telling Brazilian newspaper O Estado de Sao Paulo. (ANI)
