Los Angeles, June 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Paris Hilton has reunited with her old friend Nicole Richie following her split with boyfriend Cy Waits. Cy and Hilton have been going out for about a year now. During an interview with E! Online, Hilton said her decision to break-up with Cy was to make some time for herself.

She insisted that the two remained good friends. She told the celebrity website that, “Cy is a good guy. We’ve been friends for years and always will be. I just need some time alone to focus on myself. We speak all the time. I have nothing but great things to say about him.”

Hilton later appeared on the show of George Lopez and confirmed that she has broken up with Cy. E! Online reported that after the interview with Lopez, Hilton went to a party with sister Nicky where they hooked up with Nicole.

Nicole was at the Spare Room in Hollywood with Samantha Ronson when Hilton got there. E! Online quoted an eyewitness as saying that the two seemed very happy when they saw each other at the party.

Another person told the website that Hilton felt bad for leaving Cy because “he was always there for her.”
