Los Angeles, Sep 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Paris Hilton has another issue to deal with aside the recent cocaine issue she was involved in.
A court in Miami has ruled that 29-year-old socialite failed to do enough to promote a failed 2006 movie “Pledge This”. As a result, the actress may owe the investors, Worldwide Entertainment Group, an estimated $160,000 for their loss. That figure might be quite way off considering that the investors were demanding $8.3 million for Hilton’s failure to honor her contractual obligations.
Hilton’s lawyers did not comment on the ruling and the judge is expected to finalize the exact amount Hilton will have to pay the investors, after she has enough information about the contractual agreement.
The judge - Federico Moreno, ruled that Hilton failed to live up to her part of the contract when she refused to grant interviews to newspapers in the United Kingdom and Russia. The loss that comes out of the failed interview is estimated to be around $160,000.
It couldn’t get any worse than this in a spate of two weeks. Hilton has been charged with cocaine possession charges in Los Vegas. She was arrested along with her boyfriend. Later the couple was also banned from two nightclubs.
