Sep 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After appearing in a Los Angeles court room on Monday, it seems the pampered princess Paris Hilton has managed to deal her way out of spending anytime behind bars. Hilton pleaded ‘guilty’ to two misdemeanors, and one count of obstructing an officer.
In exchange for her guilty plea, the judge gave Hilton a sentence of one year in jail-suspended if the heiress keeps up her end of the bargain. She agreed to pay out a two thousand dollar fine, and attend an outpatient drug program, and committed to a two hundred hour community service sentence.
If she is taken back to jail for anything bigger than a minor traffic violation, the entire deal is off and she will (supposedly) find herself behind bars for the length of her sentence. the judge seemed to be serious about this part of the deal when he told Hilton, “The Clark County detention center is not the Waldorf-Astoria.”
