Sep 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to a report by the ‘Associated Press’, Paris Hilton may owe her investors around a hundred and sixty thousand dollars for failing to do enough promotion for the movie “Pledge This!” which she did in 2006.
Hilton allegedly did not fulfill her contract with investors when she refused to give interviews with media sources in both Russia and in the United Kingdom. Because of this, United States District Judge Frederico Moreno ruled in favor of the investors on Thursday, in a Miami court.
The suspected worth of the contract is one hundred and sixty thousand dollars, as estimated by the judge, but he expressed a desire for more information about the actress’s contract before he can determine the exact amount which she will owe to her investors. The initial amount which the investors were asking for was much higher, at 8.3 million dollars.
The decision by the judge comes after Hilton was arrested for possession of cocaine in Las Vegas last week. The actress claims that the small package of coke which fell out of her purse was not hers, and that when she first saw it she thought it was a pack of chewing gum.
