Oct 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) If you thought ‘Paranormal Activity’ was scary, get ready to be scared out of your skin as the sequel to the horror flick is all set to release this month. Though the film has a new director, the story of the film has been written by the writer-director of the first installment Oren Peli. The trailer of the film has been released on the web and the viral marketing by Paramount has ensured that the film comes up in the hot searches once in a while over the weeks leading up to the release.

The trailer of ‘Paranormal Activity 2′ that has been released on the web is also enough to raise some hairs. The trailer begins with clips from the first installment and there are also some clips showing the reaction of the audience during the scary scenes. As for the second installment, the last few seconds of the trailer shows a posh empty house with a dog and small baby who are lying quietly in a dark room. The dog suddenly feels a presence behind one of the doors in the room which is left half open. The baby also stands up and looks restless.

As the baby and the dog continue to stare at the half open door, a chair in the room begins to rock. The scene then cuts to a mysterious girl standing at the door. Though the face of the girl cannot be made out in the trailer, it is evident from her posture that she is standing in a trance, reminiscent of the possessed look that Katie Featherstone had towards the end of the first installment.
