Pamper your loved one direct ‘dil se’, suggests Sky (TV Snippets)
February 13th, 2012 - 6:57 pm ICT by IANS
New Delhi, Feb 13 (IANS) Akashdeep Saigal, who became popular as Sky after his stint on “Bigg Boss 5″, has some Valentine’s Day tips for romantic couples. The actor says gifts may not be expensive, but should be direct “dil se”.
“There are ample Valentine’s Day ideas and tips. But the first and foremost thing to be kept in mind is to create the love ambience around you and your beloved.
“Use your own romantic and thoughtful ideas for creating unique Valentine’s Day celebrations. Your Valentine’s Day gift to your beloved need not be expensive but it should be straight from the heart,” said Akashdeep.
Considering his aggressive demeanour, that’s quite a soft-hearted advice from the actor.

UTV Bindass offers ‘Love Band’ this Valentine’s Day
Youth-centric channel UTV Bindass has launched a special initiative “Love Band” to help viewers reach out to their loved one this Valentine’s Day.
Bindass gives its viewers the opportunity to propose to their lovers with a song performed by a renowned band. Viewers need to log onto the channel’s Facebook page, answer a few questions and be among the few lucky ones who could stand a chance to gift a band to their lovers.
For the initiative, Bindass has roped in three bands — Something Relevant, 3 Guys and a Girl and Dischordian and an artist, singer-song writer Nikhil D’Souza.
“We invite the youth to sing their way into a never-before Valentine’s date with our one-of-a-kind initiative. All they need to do is to tell us their hatke idea of expressing love and if it melts one heart, we’ll send a band to their Valentine to melt her or his heart,” Keith Alphonso, business head, UTV Bindass, said in a press statement.

Will Valentine’s Day be special for ‘Kuch Toh…’ stars?
With Valentine’s Day Tuesday, one wonders how the protagonists of popular show “Kuch Toh Log Kahenge” — Ashutosh and Nidhi, who have an age gap of 18 years — will celebrate the occasion.
Right now the focus is on the complications in their relationship due to their huge age difference.
The 42-year-old Ashutosh (Mohnish Behl) thinks he is too old for something like Valentine’s Day, while the young and bubbly Nidhi (Kritika Kamra) is eagerly waiting for a surprise from him as it’s their first Valentine’s Day.
Will it be a usual day for the two, or will they celebrate it with gifts, cards, flowers and chocolates? The answer lies in the The Valentine’s Day episode, which will be aired Tuesday.
