Pammie to revive her genie role in panto ‘Aladdin’
June 12th, 2010 - 3:14 pm ICT by ANILondon, June 12 (ANI): Pamela Anderson is all set to revive her genie role in pantomime ‘Aladdin’ in Liverpool.
The Baywatch beauty will work her magic as the Genie of the Lamp, a role she had already played in Wimbledon, South London, last year.
“I had a fantastic time performing in my first pantomime last year,” the Sun quoted Pammie as saying.
“I was thrilled to be invited to play the Genie again. I’m really going to have a great time,” she added.
She follows Happy Days legend Henry Winkler, who played Captain Hook in last year’s ‘Peter Pan’ at the Empire.
Pammie said she loves panto - despite coming from a culture, which is not used to it.
“It’s fun, tongue-in-cheek and a cool experience for kids and adults, especially those just beginning their theatre life,” she said.
Anderson will be joined in the show by Liverpool panto favourite Les Dennis, who will play Wishee Washee.
Aladdin runs from December 10 to January 2. (ANI)
