Oct 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Well, thank God that Pam Beesly (played by Jenna fischer) and Jim Halpert (John Krasinski’s screen avatar) have finally ended up tying the knot and cemented their already strong relationship into an ever lasting bond. For viewers and die-hard fans of the NBC network drama, this would really be a long cherished dream come true.

For people have surely lost count of the time that they have spent hoping, praying, urging the two to realize that they belong together. Now, suddenly, seems like two years of being together plus the arrival of their baby has had some positive effect on Pam and Jim. So, Thursday night, taking advantage of the situation, NBC finally got them to walk down the aisle.

Certainly, this forever impending wedding of Pam and Jim have been the biggest highlight for the series, “The Office” ever since season one. The one hour long episode featuring the wedding has obviously taken years in to its making, years that have included Emmy winning performances as well as script. Four years, is precisely the time that both the characters of Pam and Jim took, in order to arrive at the simple conclusion of their marriage.

Well, living up to the general expectation, the wedding also turned out to be one of the most romantic instances in a romantic/ comedy series and might therefore be on its way for award nominations in the coming year. Executive producer Greg Daniels has called Pam and Jim to be “soulmates” and have stated that it wouldn’t therefore be up to the taste of the audience to keep playing with the relationship and so, we witnessed a wedding that was minus all the melodrama that usually come in tow of most other series wedding.
