London, Aug 2 (ANI): British media personality Kerry Katona, who has sparked health fears following her split from husband Mark Croft, has been advised by friends to check into rehab, it has emerged.

Katona’s marriage to her former taxi driver hubby is set to go to the courts soon, and her friends fear the break-up could make the 28-year-old habitual to drugs and “go completely off the rails”.

The Daily Star reported that even Katona’s foster dad Fred Woodall joined friends and urged her to join a rehab unit.

Woodwall said he and his family would always take care of Katona but rehab would be “a good idea” for her.

Woodwall said: “It will be up to her doctors and the professionals to advise her but it (rehab) could be a good idea.”

Katona, a former member of the pop band Atomic Kitten, has had four separate stints in the Priory clinic in recent years after she suffered from bouts of depression and drug and booze problems.

A close friend of Katona said: “This is the third time this year that Kerry has broken up with Mark. It all takes its toll and everyone’s really worried how she’s going to cope.”

Kerry broke up with Mark after she reportedly found a text on his phone from a friend he had met while they were on a vacation in Mallorca.

She threw him out of their 1.5-million pound home in Wilmslow, Cheshire, and asked him not to return. Soon Marks’ lawyer’s sent her a letter, which said that her hubby “cannot reasonably be expected to live with her”. (ANI)
