Pals says Mischa Barton’s on destructive path

Washington, July 18 (ANI):
Friends of The O.C. star Mischa Barton insists that she has been on a
destructive path for a while now.
“She has been on a
destructive path for a while now,” People magazine quoted a friend as
saying.
“Her drug and alcohol
[use] has gotten to a point where it drove people away,” the friend added.
According to the sources,
Barton has been “dealing with a lot of personal issues”.
“I don’t think she
knows her limits,” adds the pal.
Currently, the 23-year-old
actress has been put under involuntary psychiatric evaluation at Cedars-Sinai
Medical Centre in Los Angeles.
Barton has battled demons
before. In July 2008, she told Marie Claire magazine that she’d sought
treatment for her problems.
Experts say Barton could
be discharged by Saturday afternoon if she demands to be released or doctors
find her to be stable. (ANI)
