Pallavi Gupta is Sahara One’s Bittu

April 8, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Sahara One is among the lower rung Hind GECs and it needs a major fillip to lift it from the rut. One way is by launching new shows. Post IPL, the channel is all set to launch two new shows. One is Jay Mehta Productions’ Kathputli while the other is Contiloe Films’ Bittu.
We’ve managed to get brief information on the Contiloe Films show.
A source says, “The show is titled as Bittu. This character is played by Pallavi Gupta, aka Sapna of Hum Ladkiyan fame. Bittu is a woman centric show. It speaks about her journey to success.”
When contacted, Pallavi Gupta said, “I’m under a contract and thus I can’t speak anything about the show. You’ll have to speak to the production.”
Contiloe Films head Abhimanyu Singh didn’t reply to our text message.
