Pakistani journalist dead

Islamabad, Aug 4 (IANS) Senior Pakistani journalist Yousuf Khan has died in Karachi. He was 53, a media report said.

Chief reporter of daily Nawa-i-Waqt, Khan died Wednesday night following a heart attack, reported Associated Press of Pakistan.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.

Khan joined Nawa-i-Waqt in 1979 where he went on to become the chief reporter. He was also twice elected secretary of the Karachi Press Club.
