Oz teen charged for egging Justin Bieber mid-concert
May 5th, 2011 - 12:53 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, May 5 (ANI): The NSW Police has charged a teenage boy for pelting eggs at pop sensation Justin Bieberduring his second Sydney concert last week.
The 17-year-old Bondi Junction youth was arrested at his home at 7.30am and taken to Waverly Police Station where he was charged with offences including break and enter, trespass and malicious damage, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Police made the arrest following a complaint by Acer Arena Management. It is alleged the youth gained forced entry into Acer Arena via the roof.
Acer Arena management reported the matter to police after allegedly becoming aware of particular details of the incident which had been posted on a social networking site.
The teenager has been granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Children’s Court on June 2. (ANI)
