Melbourne, Aug 25 (ANI): Pop star Kylie Minogue may not have a problem finding a seat on a tram, train or bus, but Queen Elizabeth II would possibly have, if to go by a new survey of Melbourne commuters.
Melbourne’’s public transport users have revealed that if given a choice, they would rather sit next to Minogue on the tram, train or bus, than Megan Gale, Barry Humphries, Kevin Rudd, Eddie McGuire, the Queen or Lance Buddy Franklin.
The survey of 401 Melburnians found that while Minogue was the most popular figure picked across all age groups, the Queen failed to rank as most popular for any age group, reports the Herald Sun.
According to the survey, men would most like to share their seat with model Megan Gale but if that wasn”t possible they would choose AFL footballer Buddy Franklin.
Commuters aged over 50 wanted to sit with with Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, while those earning less than 30,000 dollars wanted to sit next to television star Eddie McGuire.
Women’’s pick of the bunch was, in his own persona, comedian Barry Humphries. (ANI)
