Osian film fest shifted to October
June 11th, 2009 - 5:02 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, June 11 (IANS) The annual Osian’s-Cinefan Film Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema has been re-scheduled from July to October from this year onwards.
The film fest used to be held during July at the Siri Fort Complex in the capital since its inception a decade ago but from now it will be held in October. The decision has been taken by the festival core committee in agreement with Delhi government.
“It was time for us, finally, to leap into October - we are now eager to get the ball rolling,” Mani Kaul, director general of Osian’s Cinefan Film Festival, said in a statement released here Thursday.
The event has also been rescheduled keeping in mind the temperature during July.
