Oscars 2010: Logorama wins the Best Animated Short Film award at the 82nd Academy Awards

Beverly Hills, Mar 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The producer of the film ‘Logorama’ has picked up the award for the Best Animated Short Film. The duration of the movie is just about an hour long, and while accepting the award, the producer said that it took 6 years to make this short film. So he said that he hoped to come back in 36 years to pick up the award for the Best Feature Film, and the Kodak Theatre erupted in applause, and muffled giggles.
The venue of the 82nd Academy Awards is the Kodak Theatre. In this eventful evening, many winners have already been announced. ‘The Hurt Locker’ won the award for the Best Original Screenplay, where Christoph Waltz won the award for the Best Supporting Actor. Director Pete Docter has also picked up his very first Oscar for the animated flick ‘UP’ which won the Best Animated Film Award at the 82nd Academy Awards. The other nominees of the show are waiting with bated breath, their acceptance speeches ready, and they are hoping against hope that their name would be called out, and they would get honored in this eventful evening too.
Harnish Hamilton is directing the 82nd Academy Awards ceremony, whereas Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman are producing it. Like the co-host Alec Baldwin, it is also the director – Harnish Hamilton’s debut at the Oscars. The 5-times Oscar-nominated composer Marc Shaiman will be the music director for the 82nd Academy Awards.
