Osbourne wanted to commit suicide
March 10th, 2011 - 6:59 pm ICT by IANSLondon, March 10 (IANS) Singer Kelly Osbourne, who has shed 50 pounds in two years, says there was a time when she was struggling with criticism and felt so worthless because of her weight that she even thought of ending her life.
“I used to open a newspaper and see ‘Ozzy Osbourne’s Beached Whale of a Daughter’ or something like that. I would be like, ‘I hate myself, I hate my life, I want to die,” contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.
Osbourne has shed 50 pounds since signing up to compete as a contestant on the US TV show “Dancing With The Stars” in 2009 and admits the whole experience has changed her for the better.
“It’s a dream come true. The thing is, I was never fat… I believe that every human being has to go through things to find out who they really are and what they want. Life isn’t easy. You have to make mistakes and learn from them,” she said.
