Orson Welles’s Lost Movie To Hit The Theaters Soon

featuring John Huston, Dennis Hopper, Peter Bogdanovich and Oja Kodar will finally get some fresh winds and light and be out of the canes.
‘Within weeks’ the film will be released as per the lawyer who has been working on the case. The tussle on the ownership issues of the film along with some complicated financial matter only made the situation complicated and delayed the release of the film. In 1972 the American actor/director said that almost 96% of the film was complete and in 1976, the Citizen Kane maker stated that he was nearing completion of the film.
The Other Side of the Wind was a drama film about an aging Hollywood director styled on Ernest Hemingway. The film follows a non-linear narrative of the life of the director named Jake Hannaford played by John Huston. But unfortunately, the film was never completed by Welles due to financial woes.
Keeneth Sidle, the lawyer involved in the case and dealing with the dispute of the films’ rights has said that the legal struggle over the ownership of the film is on the verge of ending. Some of the parties involved with the film have decided to sell their share and negotiate so that the film can be released. Sidle goes on to state that they are planning to finish the film and bring it to the audience within few weeks.
